4. Fees and Payments
Our service structure may include:
- A free initial case review
- An upfront service fee depending on the case.
- A results-based fee, applicable only if our work contributes to a positive progression of the case
All fees are clearly communicated before any paid service begins.
Payments must be made through the secure methods provided by VeriHound.
5. Client Responsibilities
Clients are responsible for providing:
- Accurate and complete information related to their case
- Copies of relevant documents, transactions, screenshots, and communications
- Timely responses to requests from the VeriHound team
VeriHound is not responsible for delays or limitations resulting from incomplete, inaccurate, or missing client information.
6. Data Protection & Privacy
We comply with European data-protection regulations (GDPR).
Client information is used solely for:
- Case assessment and investigative work
- Communication with institutions or platforms
- Internal service improvement
We do not sell or rent client information.
Data may only be shared with third parties when necessary for the case or as required by law.
Clients may request correction or deletion of their data at any time.

We do not control their procedures, policies, or response times.
8. Limitation of Liability

- Delays outside our reasonable control
- Outcomes affected by incomplete client information
To the maximum extent permitted by law, VeriHound’s liability is limited to the amount paid by the client for the specific service delivered.
9. Cancellation & Refund Policy
1. Erroneous Payments
If a payment was made in error, a refund may be issued with a small 5% processing deduction.
This is available only when:
- No service or communication has yet been provided by the VeriHound team, and
- The refund request is submitted within 24 hours of the transaction.
2. Cancellation Before Work Begins
If a client chooses to cancel before any investigative work has started, a refund of up to 80% may be issued.
A portion of the fee may be retained to cover administrative and case-allocation costs already incurred.
3. Cancellation After Work Has Started
Once VeriHound has begun working on the case — including research, case preparation, document review, or communication with third parties — refunds may be issued only for the portion of the service not yet completed.
To cover the time already invested and the work performed, a fee of up to 50% may be applied.
4. No Refund After Service Delivery
Once the agreed investigative work has been completed and the corresponding documentation has been delivered, the service is considered fulfilled.
In these cases, refunds are not applicable, as all contracted work has already been provided.
10. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Hungary and applicable EU regulations.
Any disputes will be handled through the appropriate legal channels in Hungary unless otherwise agreed in writing.
11. Updates to These Terms
We may update or modify these Terms at any time.
Changes take effect immediately when posted on this website.
